Our puppy school course runs for 5 weeks and is on Tuesday nights, between 6-7pm, and 7.30-8.30pm, it is based on positive reinforcement and reward based training, it consists of basic training, sit, stay, come, stand, look, leave it, walking on a loose leash, lie down etc. It also covers how to prevent some problem behaviours like jumping, difficulty with handling, toilet training, bite inhibition, scary noises and sounds, food guarding, socialization and pulling on the leash.

Preventative care issues such as vaccines, parasites, dental care, desexing and nutrition are all discussed in an informal situation with a nurse, while a vet is also available if needed. We also go over the health program of visits and check-ups that all pets need to keep them fit and well.
