Lisa Blair

Although born and bred in 'Cat Land', Lisa set off to Melbourne to chase an Arts Degree at Melbourne University. Instead she became more interested in chasing a young man by the name of Richard Blair who lived at the residential college too. Her focus quickly moved from study to love and before long they were in wedded bliss and moving to Albury where Richard began his veterinary career as Dr Blair. Hopes and dreams of owning their own little business and starting a family brought them back to Lisa's home town and the Belmont Vet Centre was born.

Almost 20 years on and Lisa still has the toughest job of all: keeping Richard in line!! She is also our beloved practice manager. She is well and truly the driving force behind our dedicated team. She has a great vision about where our centre is heading and is always encouraging and supporting our further education in every way.

When not mothering us, Lisa tried to relax at home with 2 teenage children and is also completing a Diploma of Practice Management. At the end of a busy day chasing naughty labradors, chooks, cows, kids, husband... a cuddle from Red the Burmese is very soothing.

Back at the clinic Lisa's favourite pastime is upsetting small electrical appliances, "windexing" the answering machine or jamming paper shredders, printers, photocopiers, laboratory equipment... We love her for it, though! Its a good laugh!

Jade Dunston

Jade is our full-time receptionist and as such is probably the first contact you will have with the clinic. One of the best things about Jade at the front desk is her permanent smile. She is definitely a big-dog person, pictured here with Sargent, her 2-year-old Labrador, and she also has Chaser, a 1-year-old Kelpie cross. If those two weren't enough to keep her permanently busy, in her spare time she heads back to Tamworth to visit her family and she can pull out some 'interesting' dance moves when the time is right...
